The largest privately held, family-owned spirits company in the world, Bacardi, is renovating its Bermudian-based headquarters.

A sign covering the frontage of the building, according to Douglas Mello, managing director of Bacardi in Bermuda, denotes how the firm is in the midst of an exciting renovation.

He said: “The ‘coming soon’ sign hints at the remarkable transformation of our lobby, building on the success of our already enhanced spaces, including the internationally award-winning 1862 Cocktail Bar and more eco-friendly upgrades.

“This work to our iconic building is part of our continued commitment to excellence and to Bermuda which has been our home for nearly 60 years.”
