Komainu, the Nomura-backed regulated digital asset custody service provider, has been chosen as custodian for all digital-asset funds and strategies available on DigitalArray, the global fund platform for digital-asset funds launched by Bermudian-headquartered AI Global Strategies.

Lawrence Newhook, CEO of AI Global Strategies, said: “We built DigitalArray to provide our curated selection of digital-asset managers with the quality infrastructure and service providers necessary for funds to be investible by institutional investors.

"Custody is of utmost importance in the digital-asset space, and having a reputable and regulated custodian is required. Komainu’s regulated custody solution is a critical addition to our offering, helping us fulfil our mandate to empower investors with secure and reliable infrastructure, facilitating their access to and enhancing the security of the digital-asset investment opportunities on our DigitalArray platform.

“We look forward to continuing to offer compelling new products on DigitalArray which both leverage and invest in the evolving blockchain ecosystem and are thrilled to be partnering with Komainu on these funds.”

Digital Array said the application of Komainu’s custody solution to DigitalArray funds is subject to confirmation of no objection from the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
