Signet Jewelers reports drop in operating income to $9.2m for Q3

Bermudian-based Signet Jewelers Ltd, the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewellery, has reported operating income of $9.2 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025.

Reporting results for the 13 weeks ended November 2, the company said that figure was down from operating income of $13.3 million in Q3 of FY24.

Sales were $1.3 billion, down $42.5 million or 3.1 per cent compared with Q3 of FY24.

Cash and cash equivalents, at quarter end, were $157.7 million, compared with $643.8 million in Q3 of FY24.

J K Symancyk, the chief executive, said: “As we look forward into next fiscal year, I believe there are opportunities to evolve our strategy to further fuel customer and shareholder value. I look forward to sharing more details on this work and our plans in the coming months.”
