Jerome Wilson hosts the Economic Development Department’s Fintech Webinar Series at noon on Friday

The next instalment of the Economic Development Department’s Fintech Webinar Series is at noon on Friday.

The virtual session will be led by Jerome Wilson, partner at Appleby and head of the firm's technology and innovation practice in Bermuda.

The webinar will provide an analysis of the legal landscape governing the fintech ecosystem in Bermuda. Attendees will gain insights into:

1, The Regulatory Environment: understanding Bermuda's legal framework for fintech businesses

2, Compliance Requirements: key considerations for operating within Bermuda’s fintech sector

3, Recent Developments: updates on legislation and policies impacting digital assets and fintech services.

Mr Wilson expressed his enthusiasm for the session, stating: “I look forward to discussing Bermuda's robust legal framework that supports fintech innovation.

“This webinar aims to provide clarity on the regulatory environment and highlight how Bermuda is positioning itself as a leading jurisdiction for fintech enterprises.”
