First Atlantic Commerce in new payment integration option

Bermudian-based payment gateway provider First Atlantic Commerce has partnered with digital commerce entity CariWebs to develop and launch new payment integration options for Caribbean businesses that use WooCommerce web sites.

The companies said these modern secure plug-ins allow business owners in the Caribbean to easily and securely transact online and get payments directly and quickly to their bank accounts.

WooCommerce is an open-source e-commerce plug-in for WordPress.

Tricia Lines Hill, First Atlantic Commerce Ltd SVP, business development and marketing, said: “We are thrilled to partner with CariWebs in order to provide another plug-in option for our merchants.

“CariWebs is one of the region’s premier fintech digital agencies and they have brought a new payment integration option to market that supports our various offerings.”

Arianna Mohammed, executive group manager at CariWebs, added: “The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed the business industry in fundamental ways, allowing business owners to reimagine their operations online.

“The FAC platform is a world class environment for the Caribbean allowing business owners direct control of their operational costs and cashflow, with a myriad of customisable functionality within.”

She added: “Caribbean businesses have more than just a payment provider; they have a chance to come out of this pandemic with new and additional ways of running their business for a profitable future.”
