This spirit of inclusiveness sits at our core.Your daily responsibilities and impact:• Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, or in person.• Provide support for internal applications and tools. Problem solve and fix hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and peripheral equipment.• Facilitate the onboarding\offboarding of employees.• Assist with setting up and administrate over user accounts, permissions, and access controls.• Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system.• Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects and initiatives.• Help maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure accurate allocation and disposal of hardware.• Provide user training and guidance on best practices for IT systems.• Protect and enforce the company’s IT security and compliance policies.Skills and experience that will lead to success:• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field and/or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft or Cisco certifications) would be advantageous. • At least 5 years’ recent and relevant experience working with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems for a mid-size to large company (Windows, MS Office, MS Teams, MacOS etc.).• Previous IT support or helpdesk experience is required. Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) preferred.• Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Imaging and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.)• Experience with Audio and Video Conferencing systems.• Strong technical problem-solving skills.• Strong customer focus with superb communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work collaboratively or as an individual contributor when required, and manage projects as needed.• Excellent self-manager of time with the ability to organize, prioritize and triage work to deliver timely results.• Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours when required to complete jobs in a timely manner.The Aon Difference:In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
