Bus and ferries face disruption due to union work to rule - Government
Bus and ferry schedules are likely to be disrupted as a result of union action this week.
Members of the Bermuda Industrial Union are currently working to rule due to a dispute with Government over new decertification rules.
This morning a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Transport said: “As a result of the current work to rule by the Bermuda Industrial Union, it is anticipated that the regular bus and ferry schedule will experience some interruptions over the next week while this work to rule and overtime ban is ongoing.
“The Ministry of Transport will make every effort to keep the public informed.”
Today there were more than 50 bus cancellations, according to an update released by Government.
More information on changes to the published bus and ferry schedule can be found at: www.gov.bm Bus Alerts or www.MarineandPorts.bm.
