Construction safety certification courses being offered by DWD
People looking for a career in construction can now get international qualifications through a four-day government course.
The course, offered by the Department of Workforce Development, will train people in safety to an internationally recognised standard.
Those who complete the course will get a National Centre for Construction Education and Research certificate and will have access to work experience opportunities, resume-writing workshops, and DWD sponsorship.
Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, said: “The Department of Workforce Development remains committed to ensuring those individuals who are employed, seeking employment, or in need of further training and development have the opportunities needed for success.”
The courses will start on May 15, May 29, June 12, June 26, July 10, and July 24.
The courses from May 29 to June 1, will take place from 6pm to 9pm while the rest will run from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
