Workforce Development calls for electrician accreditation

Renewal of the Electrical National Occupational Certification is under way using an online course, the Department of Workforce Development has announced.

Mandatory recertification applies to all electricians in Bermuda, whether residential or commercial, who hold a valid or recently expired Electrical NOC.

A spokesman said the process “ensures compliance with the Department of Planning's requirements and helps you stay at the forefront of industry standards and professional practice”.

The eight-hour online programme is self-paced and a credit or debit card is required for online payment.

To register, visit www.dwd.bm/course under the National Occupational Recertification (Electricians) tab.

For queries, call the department at 297-7714 or e-mail sjlewis@gov.bm.

You must be Registered or to post comment or to vote.
