February 4, 2011Dear Sir,I think the merging of the two opposition parties is a good idea and would like to suggest that the new party be named Peoples Liberation Party (PLP) with the primary objective being to reverse the economic chaos in which we are now engulfed. Think of the advantages of having this name: those who wish to help the island but cannot bring themselves to support the government because they have been so alienated in the past can vote PLP and feel good about it. Those who do not support the government but are forced to because of previous political ideology and peer pressure can vote PLP with a clear conscience. The rest of us who desperately want to see change could then vote for the PLP but get a different result, a win-win for everybody. Mr. Wasi will be happy.
