April 1, 2011Dear Sir,Bermuda is faced with harsh economic challenges and social ills, the likes of which have not been seen in the past.We have among us some of the smartest and brightest men, women and children.I am and always will be a proud Bermudian, and shout about my pride whenever I can.What is a bit puzzling to me however are the roadblocks and landmines that are placed in front of other well meaning DO-ERS that in spite of the challenges, continue to keep the Faith and choose not to give up or give in.As I was alone in my kitchen, I thought, the hell with this:So my fellow Bermudians... beware of the CAVE people among us: Citizens Against Virtually Everything.I would like to state publicly that I agree with the scaled down version of the Tucker's Point Hotel's SDO, but there are so many other well-intentioned ideas out there that have either taken too long to take shape or have ceased to come into reality, mostly because of those CAVE people.CAVE people, are you proud of taking us back to the dark ages?Visionaries.
