May 2, 2011Dear Sir,Lo and behold, here we go again … The Ministry of Public Works is seeking to install a “temporary” waste water treatment facility on Marsh Folly Road. The words “folly” and “temporary” have no limits … If you don’t believe me, then just look East and see the “temporary bridge and developments …” Now, to you lot that opposed the previous sewage treatment plant (that was to be erected at the same site) it is once again, time for you to voice your concerns. Everyone knows damn well that place will emit not only an odour, but at times “an oh dear!” There’s a school, also a public park and numerous residents that live in the area who aren’t (I’m sure) going to take kindly to a “temporary” plant in their front nor their backyards. As a matter of fact, “in their Hood period”.I’m sure they haven’t forgotten when there had been the dump, commonly known then as “the pond” in the “Hood” and the stench it emitted …RAYMOND RAYSt George’s
