May 12, 2011Dear Sir,I am writing to state that I was hoping for the article in Thursday’s Royal Gazette entitled ‘Still no answers on abandoned PTB buses in Southside’ would actually be more positive than how it actually turned out. I would first like to state that I did not spend all day e-mailing and calling for information about these buses and those that I did contact were very helpful and supportive. I would especially like to thank Permanent Secretary Ellen-Kate Horton who was very under represented. Ms Horton graciously took time out to not only find answers to my questions in a timely manner but was very supportive and encouraging about artists actually using buses no longer in use. I do feel hurt and used. I felt that the Ministry was helping us and now because of this overly sensationalised article I feel that this may have done more harm then good.AMI ZANDERSEditor’s Note: Although Ms Zanders disagreed with the tone of the article, it did in fact accurately report her communications with Ms Horton.
