Trickle down effectOctober 9, 2011Dear Sir,Our “leaders” often ask us, the general public, to accept that what has happened locally is a result of the “trickle down effect” of global problems.Yet in actuallity it isn’t so. We have shot ourselves in the foot by supporting a Government that promised us the world. This Government has been (not always) conning the small guy by telling us all the things that we’d like to see happen on/for our Island home.The Government Leaders should take that big pay cut first before telling us further down the totem pole to take a cut to help the local economy.
