A win-win eventNovember 16, 2011Dear Sir,In these difficult economic times I note that some of our restaurants and charity organisations are seeing a decline in revenues. One of my favourite restaurants in Vermont has recently started Community Dinners. The restaurant has a monthly Community Dinner where ten percent of all dining room dinner sales for the evening go to a local non-profit organisation. So maybe some Bermuda restaurants and some Bermuda charities could get together during the quiet winter months January to April. I feel it is a win-win event the restaurant hopefully would be full of patrons who are happy to be supporting a Bermuda charity as well as having a lovely evening out with friends and fellow volunteers.
