No fan of Dr Brown

April 11, 2012Dear Sir,I have never seen such a display of hypocrisy in all my life as I have today on the front page of The Royal Gazette displaying the totally hogwash Dr Ewart Brown is trying to stuff yet again down Bermudian’s throats. Sadly the gullible will devour his tripe with glee. How dare Dr Brown accuse the Governor of failing in his duties, like to “defend and support Bermuda”. Dr Brown, I understand you are a doctor, but perhaps you need to see a different kind of doctor like a psychologist. Clearly you have severe delusions of grandiosity and are in serious denial. Like you said the Governor’s watch word should be a like a doctor’s: “First do no harm.” Do you see the state of Bermuda that you left us in after your tenure (assisted by Paula Cox’s loose hand in signing checks)? Bermuda is trying to heal and why The Royal Gazette even bothered to publish your nonsense is beyond me.You often tried to stifle the press, which drew international news agencies attention to the island as you basically were trying to gag freedom of speech/information. I think it’s time our media gags your speech as poison spews forth from you at every word. And let’s be real, you just want to continue to cram independence down our throats with these claims about the Governor. Remember Bermudians, Dr Brown’s famous line “We had to deceive you.” The devil is a liar Dr Brown. Deception is non wanted or needed here in Bermuda. Bow out and leave before you further bring this Island into disrepute, although your successor is doing a fine job of doing just that anyway, just more quietly. I also am confused as to why Dr Brown said in regards to the Governor that he has not done his job by calling other agencies and such to investigate into matters. Dr Brown, why couldn’t you have done these things? I mean you seem to have no problem talking and making a scene any other time. You did not mind going behind the UK government and Bermudian people’s back to bring in the Uighurs. You left Bermuda wounded, please stop rubbing the salt in!ROBERT DAVIES JRDevonshire
