April 12, 2012Dear Sir,Is this bank so out of the loop? To activate your credit card you need to call from your home phone. How many of us still have a land line? Granted the activation process was easy after it was established that I was not calling from a home phone but get real HSBC. My activation was done after hours at an outsourced centre and did have some accent issues but was generally acceptable. Can banks get real — we do no longer have home phone lines.NO NAMESt George’s
