May 11, 2012Dear Sir,Please allow me a few lines in your newspaper to thank all the people who offered sightings and condolences about my missing cat. Rocket jumped into a friend’s car as she was leaving the house, and she did not know that she had a passenger until a lady tapped on the window as she was driving along Front Street, and asked if she knew that a black cat with a red collar had jumped out of her window into the dock area. Despite calls to the SPCA, all vets and the media, and combing the docks with tempting tins of tuna, there was no sign of the cat. Having given up in despair, three nights later Rocket woke me up at 3am as right as rain. This frisky fellow is not yet a year old and it is a miracle that he could find his way home all alone from Hamilton to Trimingham Hill. I thought concerned friends might like to know that Rocket is home again, well and happy.LIDGE RABENPaget
