March on House of Assembly
June 2, 2012Dear Sir,I thought the following comment by “Scappo” regarding the KFC comedy which appeared in today’s Royal Gazette website said it all and I just couldn’t resist copying it and forwarding it to Letters to the Editor. Here’s what “Scappo” had to say:“Scappo :: June 2, 2012 8:05amSo wait ... the BIU will march on KFC, but not the Parliament building? The PLP is robbing the Island blind, and the best the BIU can come up with is to march on a fast-food chain? How in the hay does this help anyone? No wonder international businesses are fleeing the Island at a record pace ... who wants to do business in a place like this, where workers will unite against a restaurant, but not the Government that’s slowly sucking the blood out of their veins?Ah well ... have fun with your Mr Chicken, guys. Maybe that delicious bird will ease the pain of the money slowly being siphoned from your wallets by the people who profess to care about you.”Mr Editor, these people are led by the same man whose leadership of PHC is being questioned. I back what “Scappo” said above and I say, it is too bad they can’t find someone to lead them to march against this Government for their mismanagement of our/their hard earned taxpayer dollars. They go chicken scratching at KFC while the turkeys on the Hill go gobble gobble! That clearly shows the mindset we are dealing with. This situation is sad and frightening beyond belief because the members are only being used by the BIU and don’t know it. They don’t seem to realise that it is their dues keeping the officials rich and all they get is being led around by the nose.PAT FERGUSONWarwick
