June 11, 2012Dear Sir,It would be very helpful if supermarkets could provide grocery packers with a list of do’s and dont’s. I’ll start the list off, but no doubt others can add to it:l Grapes and other softer items do not go at the bottom of bags with tinned goods on the top of them.l The grey coloured bags are for freezer items, not toiletries.l Having put freezer items in the grey bag, zip it up. That way, the ice cream might make it to home base looking like ice cream.l Fresh food stuffs do not go in the same bag as toilet cleaner or other chemicals.l Bread is meant to have the shape it does. Squeezing a loaf into that small space that is left in the bag, is not helpful.I have no problem paying a dollar or two for good packing. I do, however, have a problem going to a supermarket that has bad packers.Get a grip please, supermarkets.SMITH’S
