Don’t be misled by electioneering
June 29, 22012Dear Sir,After 14 years of the Progressive Labour Party, our greatest problem lies with the trust factor. There has been so much unethical behaviour, underhandedness, mismanaged money matters, and so on that we the people of Bermuda and those who wish to do business on our shores, are filled with this uncertainty and lack of confidence with this government. There’s the feeling that we simply must be wary of their every move. Quite frankly the projections and promises we have been bombarded with in the past weeks, and continue to be bombarded with, are more of the same projections and promises. What we hear and see is simply the misleading and electioneering that we expect. There is nothing evident in its past record to indicate the PLP can perform and achieve for the good of all of us in Bermuda. They have had 14 years, and now we have what we have. As far as we can see, it is all hearsay and idle talk with the hopes we will believe; no matter what the result. This was their agenda before, and there is no indication that this PLP motif is or will change. We should not be misled — again.NUFF SAIDPaget
