July 15, 2012Dear Sir,Who will be held accountable?I have no doubt that the story about the non-payment by the Government of their employees' dental insurance premiums is true.There are now three things we need to find out:1. Was this because there was insufficient money in the Government's current account to pay the bill? If so, we need to vote them out of office forthwith.2. Was this because someone in Government decided to discontinue this coverage without informing the insured employees? If so, we need to vote them out of office forthwith.3. Was this an oversight by a civil servant who clearly failed to perform their duties? If so, surely they should lose their job?Of course, no one will be held accountable. No one ever is with this Government.How many more failures do we need before the voting public wake up?Alarm bells should surely be ringing everywhere.ELSPETH BREWINWarwick
