September 20, 2012Dear Sir,So the PLP election mantra will be that they “stand strong for Bermudians”.Talk is cheap and what I think they mean is that they sure have stood strong for some Bermudians, but not all. Otherwise, their idea of strength is about what a Bermuda stone wall must feel like when one of those oversized PLP cars bangs into it.The OBA is the party of the future. Whether you like 'em or not, you cannot deny that they have the people with business acumen and experience. It may take them awhile but the ship will turn and investment will flow and jobs will return ... maybe even tourists. They are not about to tell the PLP what their platform is and by the way I don't hear anything to platform-like coming out of Alaska Hall .. .or are they standing on their record? Or, no doubt, they will announce their platform two days before the election, like last time.Jonathan Smith, what's your platform ? Paula, you have one?
