In Thursday’s edition of The Royal Gazette we reported on the National Health Plan and stated that Health Minister Zane DeSilva has assigned a 70-member task force.To clarify, there are six Task Groups and one Steering Committee which, together, are comprised of approximately 70 members.A Ministry spokesperson said: “The public should note that the Task Groups’ membership is non-partisan, the majority are not civil servants, and there is no payment associated.“Task Group members are volunteers from across Bermuda’s social, political and economic spectrum, dedicating immense personal time to an issue of national importance.The names of the Task Group members are listed on the National Health Plan web site at www.nhp.bm.
