October 9, 2012Dear Sir,Does the Number 2 Ord Road bus cater to getting the children to school on time? I have a little grand-niece who attends Paget Primary and has to travel from Sandys Parish in the morning.Her school convenes between 8.30 and 8.45am. If she catches the Number 2, she will be late for her class, thus getting in trouble.As she does not want to get in trouble, what she does is catch the number 7 bus from Sandys Parish and walks from South Road, either through Harvey Road or Cobbs Hill Road to school. My question is this, why should a ten-year-old child particularly a girl have to catch the number 7 bus and be inconvenienced when there is a bus, the number 2 Ord Road passing right by the school but gets there too late?Shouldn’t there be some change to this route’s schedule to cater to the children?WONDERING IN WARWICK
