November 7, 2012Dear Sir,I attended the Progressive Labour Party banquet on Saturday evening, and aside from it being a very well organised, elegant and enjoyable event ... it was extremely informative. Each person in attendance (and it was sold out) received a booklet that highlighted the accomplishments of the PLP. And, I must say that I was simply proud and amazed at the hundreds of accomplishments outlined in this booklet. So many times, we hear or read the negative banter of the One Bermuda Alliance ... and to hear them talk, the PLP has done nothing good or right. But, Mr and Mrs OBA, nothing could be further from the truth. The PLP’s accomplishments, documented, are mind-blowing! And for those of you who are unsure who to vote for, or you’ve been negatively influenced by the incorrect information put out by the OBA ... be careful. The PLP has done more for Mr and Mrs All Bermuda, then any other government. And although the OBA tries hard daily, to make the PLP look bad, the Bible says, “may their works speak for them”.No government is perfect, and as errors are made, one learns, and grows stronger and wiser. Hats off to you PLP ... your list of accomplishments for Bermuda and Bermudians is staggering! Let’s learn from US President Obama’s race to the White House ... if you followed the campaign, the Republican’s tried hard to discredit the President’s reputation and accomplishments; and many times, they said some very harsh things about the President and his cabinet. But, President Obama made it clear, that he’s not perfect, he hasn’t always made the perfect decision. But, he learned from his weaknesses and errors. And, at all times, he made decisions, that were in the best interest of America and Americans. Sound familiar? Keep doing the right thing for All Bermuda, PLP!PROUDLY PLPDevonshire
