Treat us with respect
March 28, 2013Dear Sir,I recently went to the Transport Control Department and was totally disgusted by the behaviour that was shown towards myself and others. Since when were TCD workers better than any other hard working citizen in Bermuda? What exactly gives them the right to carry such and arrogant attitude around? Test instructors are rude and disgruntled. If they aren’t personable and can’t deal with people in a kind manner as they say we Bermudians are, then why work in this position? Didn’t they have to do a driving test? Don’t they have to license their car just like everyone else? They seem to be very unorganised at times, who is to blame if information is lost or “not in the system”? At the end of the day we are paying for our licenses they are not free, so the workers are not doing us any favours. The least they could do is treat us with the respect that they expect from us, not to mention some people sit down there for hours just to get their car re-licensed. Do not get me wrong: some of the workers are not like this, so this does not refer to all of them.OBSERVER 101Pembroke
