July 18, 2013Dear Editor,Having just read the letter from Diana Williams in your 17 July edition about the possibility of a salute on the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby, I thought your readers might be interested to know what is already planned. On instruction from Buckingham Palace the Bermuda Regiment will fire a 21 Gun Salute, no matter the sex of the baby (or number of babies, should there be more than one).
