Listening to the people

November 21, 2013

Dear Sir,

There is a difference between the former govt and the present one. The former government closed the Indigenent Clinic and did not listen to those who wished it to stay open. This disenfranchised many, especially seniors in their ability to receive healthcare. The Bermuda Hospital’s Board recommended closing of The Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre, due to its financial challenges. The people it affected most got together and protested, as they wished it to remain open. The present govt saw fit to listen to the peoples’ wishes and keep the Urgent Care Centre open, here lies the difference! To the present govt, thanks for listening to the people, and showing you are a govt for the “people”.
