Nothing positive to say
Dear Sir
I wonder if I might suggest to (Opposition Finance spokesman) David Burt that he spend some time trying to come up with some mildly realistic ideas that might complement what has to be one of the most well thought out budgets in recent memory. I’ve read much of what he had to say both before the Budget, during the Budget speech and afterwards. In typical Progressive Labour Party fashion he has had nothing positive to say and all he does is criticise in a way that a casual observer would think that the PLP have any idea about what’s going on here or how to solve the problems they created. Neither could be farther from the truth.
In short, Mr Burt, if you’ve got something to say that will be useful ... then say it. Otherwise, my best advice to you is to just go away and let people who actually want to work towards creating solutions, do just that! And, Mr Burt, although it only really took about six years for the PLP to drop us in this pit of misery ... it might take more than a few months to get us out.
I LOVE BOB!
