Dear Sir

Message to Minister Fahy and the rest of the OBA. This is what we all mean when we tell you that you have no clue how to communicate.

The RG on May 22 has a front page article on the Black Mayors Conference and Ministers Fahy is all over that article and there’s a big picture of him on page 6. The regurgitation of what we already know about this fiasco/junket/whatever you want to call it, is all in the article but I have one question for Mike and Bob Richards...

If we are in such desperate financial straits why are we spending money on this totally worthless and money losing event. If there is some rational reason for doing this, explain it to the people.

Bermudians have read more about this event then probably any other in recent time but none of us can understand why it’s moving forward with Government sanction, and I accept that maybe there is some good reason to do so, but if this is the best you can do at communicating, we have a very, very serious problem.
