A typical act of Bermuda kindness

Dear Sir,
In reference to Mr Kenneth G Stone’s letter entitled, “Time to stop the slow death of Bermuda,” I wish to make a comment. My husband and I are frequent visitors and we have always been treated with kindness by the residents. Just today, we were hiking on the Railway Trail and we stopped into the Crawl Hill Esso Tiger Market. We were met by Joseph, the owner, who chatted about a mutual love of walking.
He sent us off with two complimentary beverages, which is just another example of the typical Bermuda hospitality.
Sincerely,
Peggy and Kevin Farren
