Unsightly: Trash left on the roads, sidewalks and other areas of the Island needs to be cleared away, writes HW from Pembroke
Dear Sir,
The roads and byways on this Island are filthy with trash. I am over 70 and I pick up trash when I see it where it should not be. I even called KBB, someone told me to come pick up a bag. If they were really doing what should be done they would send someone out to check these roads.
Everyone tries to pass the buck, Works & Engineering, Corporation of Hamilton, etc.The road leading up from King Street to Fort Hamilton is always filthy. I report the ramp area to Corporation of Hamilton, nothing gets done. People dump their trash there, I pick up trash and bottles from Bermuda Motors area opposite the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
People do your job, you get paid for it.
