Dear Sir,

Forgive me for being perplexed about the PLP’s accusation that the OBA is conspiring to “hide” jobs that might be created by the America’s Cup Event Authority.

Surely for anyone, of any nationality in any country, who seeks a job, the website of the organisation for which one would like to work is the very first place one would look?

Or are we to believe that Bermudians are incapable of looking in the most logical place to find job postings and that the PLP somehow believes that Bermudians have an inalienable right to have prospective employers approach them?

I would suggest that anyone who thinks that is by definition unlikely to be either qualified or capable to perform any of these jobs. Would someone please ask the PLP to stop all the negativity and perhaps come up with something remotely constructive?
