Dear Sir,

I am a visitor to Bermuda and last Thursday was walking along the Railway Trail, having just passed The Fairmont Southampton on my way back to Hamilton when I was attacked and badly bitten by a large light-tan dog.

I needed treatment and the doctor said if the victim had been a small child, the result might have been fatal. I reported the incident to the police dog warden, explaining where it had happened and only hope they are investigating this before someone else gets bitten.
