Dear Sir,

I am totally disgusted with people embarrassing Emancipation Day while celebrating at Cup Match.

Years ago I watched as people slipped and slid on the tarpaulin laid on the pitch as it rained. Last year we had a couple having sex around the bleachers and this year someone exposes themselves on the field.

This is truly an insult to the emancipation celebration and the black population of Bermuda. It would be made more of if blacks were doing these kinds of things at white functions.

Maybe us blacks should have sex and run around with no clothes everywhere the America’s Cup is being held, but we won’t; we are a strong people and have much more pride about ourselves.
