Dear Sir,

Regarding my Letter to the Editor, “Grateful to kind gentleman”, I would like to express my sincere apologies, and absolute embarrassment, regarding the mistaken identity of the very kind lady who took me into her shop, The Edge, for me to recover from my plummet to the ground on February 23.

I had stated that her name was Rosie Cross, when in fact it was Patsy who came so swiftly and kindly to offer me comfort.

I hope that Patsy will accept my note of contrition for my rather terrible blunder, as I was obviously a little more worse for wear than I thought.
