Dear Sir,

Hopefully, the person who read my letter of November 9, 2016 about the overgrown shrubbery and fallen trees on the access road to the Rockaway ferry — Sea Express Lane — will be reading your newspaper again, as this situation is a disgrace once again.

Last time, a large crew spent nearly a week clearing up and I wrote on December 8, saying what a wonderful job they had done.

However, they did not remove any of the fallen trees; they are still there.

Just recently, an oval-shaped wall was erected around one of the trees, but that was all. There are still weeds around the tree, together with the rest of the pile of sand that was not used.

All I can say is, please send a crew up there again to clear the mess and the trees.
