Bermudian hospitality you can trust
Dear Sir,
I am writing to commend Bill Zuill from the Bermuda National Trust, Elena Strong from the National Museum of Bermuda and their respective staffs for hosting all of us who recently came from around the world for the International National Trusts Organisation.
The hospitality that we received as guests in Bermuda was beyond belief.
First, the conference itself was truly remarkable because the speakers were great.
Second, the opportunities to spend time in St George’s, at the Commissioner’s House and the Dockyard, at Verdmont, at Government House, and at private dinners hosted by friends of the Bermuda National Trust were truly special.
I run the Preservation Society of Newport County — aka the Newport Mansions — in Newport, Rhode Island, and have attended many conferences around the world.
This one was truly the best in large part because of the kindness and courtesy of Bermudians.
Many thanks to all.
