Dear Sir

I totally agree with the letter from ‘Who’s kidding who?’ with regard to the old Southampton Arms. I watched with amazement as more and more ‘stuff’ covered the building. The parapet hiding the Bermuda roofline really made me wonder — what exactly requires planning permission?
