Questions, questions and more Covid questions
Dear Sir,
Thankfully it appears as though cases of Covid have reduced considerably in recent weeks, the people who want to be vaccinated have had their jabs and we are into Phase 3. So I ask, what is the justification for the Government extending emergency powers for another two months? I ask the Governor to consider this very carefully; it is not necessary and raises a number of questions.
Is there an ulterior motive for the Government wanting to extend control over us?
I have always been curious about this. How much does one test cost? We are now at 280,000 tests. They are “free” to the public but somebody must be paying for them. Are they administered by a private company and, if so, what company is it? Who are the shareholders and where is the money going?
Do we really need an app on our phones to go into a restaurant? Why not just show your vaccine certificate? (I happen to disagree with this segregation.)
Has a company or individual been paid for this technology?
It is not unreasonable to expect the Premier to answer these questions. If it is ultimately taxpayer money that is funding this programme, we have a right to know.
