Danger zone: this offending pothole will capture more victims if there is no immediate action (Photograph supplied)

Dear Sir,

After just witnessing a scooter rider almost lose control of his bike when his front wheel twisted violently going through a pothole on Middle Road, Paget, I feel compelled to write to you.

I am aware that about a month ago I saw a public works crew out filling holes, but until our roads are properly resurfaced this is an ongoing problem which requires one or more work crews to go from end to end of the island filling these holes and then start all over again.

It is bad enough driving at night and being partly blinded by those outrageously bright halogen car lights without having to navigate dangerous potholes.

The attached pothole photograph is that which I referred to on the eastbound carriageway of Middle Road, Paget, at Edgehill Drive ... just one of hundreds.
