None so blind as those who will not see

File photograph by Blaire Simmons

Dear Sir,

I must compliment Beverley Connell for her excellent letters to the Editor. Well done. Unfortunately, though, I think your letters are falling on deaf ears.

It is sad to see a beautiful island be destroyed by an incompetent government. Making big money and doing nothing.

Where are the young people in Parliament? New energy, new ideas. Government House in disrepair; roads not maintained; legal system in disarray. It is sad to see.

Hopefully, the young, intelligent people on this island will be encouraged to get involved in politics and get things reformed before it is too late.

Where are the new, quality hotels being built and cruise ships in Hamilton Harbour, St George’s Harbour and Morgan’s Point?

So much to be done.

KEITH D. GODFREY
