Remove these dangerous nails

Protruding hazard: this nail is a danger to people walking by, says Sue Garland (Photograph supplied)

Dear Sir,

Why are we continually seeing very large posters advertising concerts and events sometimes months in advance? I stand to be corrected, but I believe we have laws covering this kind of advertising. Is permission required to display these posters?

On Good Friday, while walking close to the old Warwick Post Office, my arm came in contact with a nail sticking out from a post. There were two, which had previously had one of these posters attached. This resulted in a small wound on my arm, but it could have been far worse if a child had been walking by.

Should those responsible read this, please go back and remove those nails.

Painful: Ms Garland’s nail wound (Photograph supplied)
