Outerbridge Peppers Ltd has announced the addition of Bermuda Swizzle Taffy to its original brand of gourmet foods.The Bermuda Swizzle Taffy was available on Island from yesterday at www.outerbridge.com.The salt water taffy is packaged by A&A Candy Company of Ocean City, Maryland. It is available in eight ounce boxes of individually-wrapped pieces and its creation was motivated by Outerbridge’s popular Bermuda Rum Swizzle Mix.Judy Lee, Outerbridge’s vice-president of sales, who came up with the idea, said: “We wanted to offer something new for the Bermuda market and our Bermuda Rum Swizzle Mix is very popular with visitors and locals alike. We sent A&A some samples and they developed this custom blend.“We were blown away as we think everyone who tries it will be too.”Outerbridge’s managing director Norma Cross said: “We believe this is a tremendous opportunity to extend our product line to both existing and new customers!
