A gourmet cheese and chocolate supplier is hoping to add wine to its list of offerings.The Gourmet Boutique at the corner of Reid and Queen Streets, has applied for a liquor licence.If successful the store will offer a range of wines from Burrows Lightbourn.Owner Bernard Walker said the plan is to provide a range of upscale foods and wine that can be partnered together.“This was a part of the plan from the get-go,” he said. “We want to provide a more complete experience for our customers.“We have partnered with Burrows Lightbourn, and we hope to have everything ready for December 1.”A hearing to determine whether or not Gourmet Boutique’s application is granted will take place on November 21 at 9.15am in Magistrates’ Court No 1.
