BTC has named Eric Dobson as its new CEO.Mr Dobson, a seasoned telecommunications professional, started his executive career as the senior vice-president of business and carrier services for Sprint Canada. He later moved on to assume the role of president and CEO of Bruce Telecom.Mr Dobson was most recently the president of Fibernetics Corporation, a ten-year-old competitive local exchange carrier offering local phone service, long distance and high speed internet data and network services to residential, business and wholesale customers across Canada.Mr Dobson started at BTC on July 2. He replaces Lloyd Fray who stepped in as CEO when Francis Mussenden retired in September of 2010. Mr Fray now moves into the position of CEO of The KeyTech Group, BTC’s parent company.
