Bermuda Realty Company Ltd recognised six staff members for their long service with company in 2012, representing a collective 75 employment years.Recipients represented several different areas within the company, including corporate administration, accounts, sales, and land survey.Long Service Awards were presented by Bermuda Realty president and CEO, Brian Madeiros.“We are very proud of all that our employees have accomplished in their time with Bermuda Realty,” he said, “and we hope that they will continue to thrive in their current positions for years to come.”Special recognition was given to Winifred Peniston, who is the organisation’s senior accountant and has been employed with the company for 25 years.In 1987 she joined the accounts team at Jones Waddington Ltd and played an integral role in the integration of the Coldwell Banker systems in 1998. Promoted to corporate controller in 2001 when the company merged with Bermuda Realty Company Limited, Ms Peniston served in this position through the company’s significant growth period. She moved to her current position in 2010. Ms Peniston also holds her Real Estate Salesperson’s license and has passed her Real Estate Broker’s examination.Length of Service Awards were also presented Matthew Ringer — five years; Reggie Fleming — 15 years; Jennifer Sims — 20 years; Ed Williams — five years; Winifred Peniston — 25 years and Jason Smith — five years.
