KeyTech chairman King stepping down
KeyTech has announced Dr. James A.C. King will be retiring as chairman at the Annual General Meeting on July 26.The Board has identified Gary L. Phillips, OBE to succeed Dr. King as Chairman.Michael Mello, chairman of the Governance Committee for KeyTech, said: “I would like to thank Dr. King for his significant contribution and support as Chairman. He has led KeyTech through a huge period of change in the telecommunications industry and his leadership was invaluable.”Dr. James A.C. King said: “Gary has made a noteworthy contribution on several of the KeyTech boards over the last decade and the Board believes that he will have a strong impact on the direction of KeyTech as the company navigates through the ongoing evolution of the telecommunications industry and its ever-changing regulation. I wish him well in his new role.”Mr. Phillips will be confirmed in his post at a Director’s meeting immediately following the AGM.
