KeyTech chairman King to step down
KeyTech has announced Dr James AC King will be retiring as chairman at the Annual General Meeting on July 26.The Board has identified Gary L Phillips, OBE to succeed Dr King as Chairman.Michael Mello, chairman of the Governance Committee for KeyTech, said: “I would like to thank Dr King for his significant contribution and support as Chairman. He has led KeyTech through a huge period of change in the telecommunications industry and his leadership was invaluable.”Dr King said: “Gary has made a noteworthy contribution on several of the KeyTech boards over the last decade and the Board believes that he will have a strong impact on the direction of KeyTech as the company navigates through the ongoing evolution of the telecommunications industry and its ever-changing regulation. I wish him well in his new role.”Mr Phillips will be confirmed in his post at a Director’s meeting immediately following the AGM.
